Pastiglie Leone Opens Temporary Shop Inside Vintage Store Fané in Turin

Pastiglie Leone, the historic Turin confectionery brand founded in 1857, has opened a temporary shop inside Fané, a vintage store located under the Mole Antonelliana in Turin. The shop, named Temporary, Timeless, will run until December 31, 2021. Fané, founded in 2016 by Maurizio Bray, is a three-room store where each room has a different concept and color. The Pastiglie Leone pop-up occupies the pink room, which complements the brand's retro packaging. The store offers candies, jellies, gummies, licorice, fine chocolate, and the classic pastiglie. The packaging features retro illustrations on tin and glass jars, which Bray notes are both aesthetic and sustainable, as the tins can be reused. Fané's philosophy is to mix objects from different periods and styles, creating a home-like atmosphere. The collaboration highlights the nostalgia effect of combining vintage taste, Turin elegance, and a piece of Italian design history.
