Passivhaus Renovation of Torres Blancas Apartment by CSO arquitectura
CSO arquitectura has completed a 200 m² Passivhaus renovation of a Torres Blancas apartment originally designed by Francisco Javier Sáenz de Oíza. The project, led by architect Javier de Antón with design team Ana Gaviria and Santiago Montero, and technical support from Jose Miguel Asencio, was built by POMAR 2000 SL. The apartment had undergone significant alterations from Oíza's original design, including changes to layout, enclosed terraces, and replacement of original materials. The intervention pursued two main goals: achieving high energy efficiency through Passivhaus standards and restoring the original state adapted to contemporary needs. Photographs were taken by David Frutos. The project was curated by Valentina Díaz and completed in 2025.
