Parma 2020: 8 Must-See Stops as Italian Capital of Culture

Parma, designated Italian Capital of Culture for 2020 (not European like Matera 2019), offers a curated tour of eight highlights. The itinerary includes Palazzo del Governatore (13th-century origins, Piazza Garibaldi), the Museo Bodoniano inside the Biblioteca Palatina (800,000 volumes, frescoes by Correggio) dedicated to typographer Giambattista Bodoni, and Palazzo della Pilotta housing the Galleria Nazionale (despite spoliations by Charles of Bourbon and Napoleon).
