Park Associati Wins Italian Architect of the Year 2024
During the Festa dell'Architetto 2024 held in Rome, Park Associati, under the leadership of Filippo Pagliani and Michele Rossi, received the title of Architetto dell'anno 2024 for their retrofitting work on the Luxottica Digital Factory in Milan, completed in 2022. The jury, led by Ute Schneider, commended the project for its contextual engagement. Emanuele Scaramellini Architetto was honored with the Giovane Talento dell'Architettura italiana award for his 2023 project, Casa a Lottano in Sondrio. Bricolo Falsarella associati and asv3-officina di architettura received mentions for their respective works: a farmhouse recovery in Oliosi and the Cantina di Guado al Tasso in Castagneto Carducci. Schneider called on architects to address social issues, while Massimo Crusi and Alessandra Ferrari highlighted the importance of well-being and democratic urban planning. Over 200 submissions were received.
