Paris Print Fair Debuts in May 2022 with 19 International Galleries
The inaugural Paris Print Fair, focusing on printmaking, is set to occur from May 19 to 22, 2022, with a preview on May 18, at the Couvent des Cordeliers in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, aligning with Paris Drawing Week. Organized by the Chambre Syndicale de l'Estampe, du Dessin et du Tableau (CSEDT) and initiated by president Christian Collin, the event will feature 19 exhibitors from cities including Paris, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Dublin, London, Strasbourg, Vienna, and Zurich. The fair's intimate setting is complemented by the Couvent des Cordeliers' 13th-century refectory. Participating galleries include Galerie Arenthon, Galerie Nathalie Béreau, and more. Notable artists range from Dürer and Rembrandt to contemporary figures like Bernar Venet. A digital version will also be offered, with Collin highlighting printmaking as a vital cultural memory.
