festival-fair · 2026-05-04

The Grand Palais will host the 21st edition of Paris Photo, commencing on November 9, 2017. Florence Bourgeois oversees the event, with Christoph Wiesner providing artistic direction. This year’s fair includes 190 galleries and book dealers from 20 nations, divided into four categories: the main sector featuring 151 galleries, Prismes, a book section with 32 publishers, and a newly introduced film and video section. Italian participants include Lia Rumma and Continua. On November 10, the Film/Video section will showcase Vanessa Beecroft's performance VB62. Honored guest Karl Lagerfeld will guide attendees through his preferred artworks. Curated by Marta Gili, the exhibition "The Tears of Things" highlights artists like Thomas Demand. Fotofever at Carrousel du Louvre presents 150 emerging talents, while the Photo Saint-Germain festival continues until November 19.
