Paris Photo New York 2020: 126 galleries and 47 publishers debut at Pier 94

festival-fair · 2026-04-27

From April 2 to 5, 2020, Pier 94 will host the inaugural Paris Photo New York, showcasing 126 galleries and 47 publishers from 24 nations. This event, which has its roots in Paris over two decades ago, will coincide with The Photography Show, organized by AIPAD (International Association of Photography Art Dealers). AIPAD President Richard Moore expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, aiming to enhance the market and attract more visitors and collectors. Florence Bourgeois, the director, emphasized that the exhibitors chosen highlight the fair's legacy as a center for photographic dialogue, bridging the past and future. Notably, a special section titled [RE] Emergence, curated by Antwaun Sargent, is highly anticipated. The main section will feature solo displays from 15 artists, including Gregory Halpern, Joel Sternfeld, and others. Italian galleries such as Federico Luger (Milan) and Paci (Brescia) will also participate.
