Paris Photo Names New Directors for Paris and Los Angeles Fairs

Florence Bourgeois, who has held the position of Managing Director for PAD in both London and Paris, has been appointed as the director for Paris Photo and its Los Angeles edition. Christoph Wiesner, an art historian and curator with experience as senior director at Yvon Lambert in Paris, will take on the role of artistic director for both events. These changes come after Julien Frydman stepped down on January 31, having served for four years. This year, Frydman will co-curate the UNEDITED! exhibition in Los Angeles. Jean-Daniel Compain, senior vice president of Reed Exhibitions' luxury, culture, and leisure division, praised the new leadership as a talented international team ready to enhance the fairs and explore new opportunities. The third edition of Paris Photo Los Angeles is set for May 1-3, 2015, at Paramount Pictures Studios.
