Paris Photo 2024 Showcases 10 Contemporary Photographers Using Diverse Techniques

Paris Photo, the world's largest international art fair focused on lens-based media, took place from 7-10 November 2024 at the Grand Palais. The event featured a selection of 10 contemporary artists employing varied photographic methods, from analogue to experimental approaches. Evelyn Bencicova presented her 2017 work 'I don't exist' through Artemis, while Lars Tunbjörk's 'Office' from 2001 was shown by Loose Joints. Koto Bolofo's 'Black Beauty' (2006) appeared via In Camera Galerie, and Erik Madigan Heck's 'Waterfall by Night' (2022) was exhibited by Christophe Guye Galerie. Alkan Avcıoğlu displayed a 2024 untitled piece through Tender. Estelle Hanania and Gisèle Vienne collaborated on 'EXTRA LIFE', featuring performers Theo Livesey, Katia Petrowick, and Adèle Haenel, published by Spector Books in 2024. Vincent Mercier contributed 'An inventory of arctic glaciers' (2024) through Filigranes. Alice Pallot's 'Ecosystem altered by toxic algae baths' (2024) was presented by Hangar, and Paul Cupido's 'Cap de Creus' (2023) appeared via Polka Galerie. Claudine Doury's 'Le papillon, Sasha' from 2007 rounded out the selection through In Camera Galerie. These works offered diverse perspectives on contemporary themes through striking visual imagery.
