Paris Photo 2022: Fashion Photography Takes Center Stage at Grand Palais Éphémère

The 25th Paris Photo took place from November 10 to 13, 2022, at the Grand Palais Éphémère, showcasing more than 130 galleries and publishers from 31 nations, emphasizing the interplay between contemporary art and fashion photography. Gallerist Michael Hulett remarked on the fusion of traditional fashion photography with modern pieces, highlighting a resurgence of analog film. Noteworthy exhibits included Joana Choumali's 'Alba’hian' series at Loft Gallery in Casablanca, Mous Lamrabat's critique of North African stereotypes, and Boyt's 1977 photographs of Bella Freud at England & Co.
