Paris Museum Hosts Major Exhibition on The Little Prince
The Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris is presenting "À la rencontre du petit prince" (An Encounter with the Little Prince), the first major French museum exhibition dedicated to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's classic novella. Running until June 26, the show features over 600 pieces, including the original manuscript on loan from the Morgan Library & Museum in New York. Curated by Anne Monier Vanryb and Alban Cerisier, the exhibition explores Saint-Exupéry's multifaceted life as a journalist, inventor, aviator, philosopher, and explorer, alongside his passion for drawing. A vast collection of his original sketches, watercolors, and illustrations for the story—first published in America in 1943 and in France three years later—are on display.
