Paris Internationale Returns for Second Edition with 60 Galleries

The second edition of Paris Internationale opens today in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, organized in collaboration with Fondation d'entreprise Ricard and supported by the Comité professionnel des galeries d'art, Fluxus Art Projects, and Ocean Highway. The fair features 60 international galleries, up from 41 in its debut, and has moved from the Hôtel de Ségur at 45 Avenue d'Iéna to a new venue at 51 Avenue d'Iéna, a hôtel particulier built in 1897 by Ernest Sanson. The fair occupies three floors and a basement, using all spaces fluidly. Four talks are scheduled: "Would You Like To Save?" with Kenneth Goldsmith and Chus Martínez (October 20, 6 PM), "One Hand Cannot Clap" with Kate Cooper, Matthew Lutz-Kinoy, and Justin Meekel (October 21, 6 PM), "Unrest On One’s Laurels" with Flora Katz, Alexandra Pirici, and Georgia Sagri (October 22, 6 PM), and "Building The Toolbox" with François Aubart and Mélanie Bouteloup (October 23, 4 PM). The talks are moderated by Clément Delépine, codirector of Paris Internationale. The fair runs from October 19 to 23, 2016. Organizers have succeeded where Officielle, a collateral fair to FIAC, was suppressed after two editions.
