Paris Internationale 2025: 10th Edition Opens Opposite Grand Palais

festival-fair · 2026-04-26

The 10th edition of Paris Internationale, the leading collateral fair to Art Basel Paris, opened in a former Adidas store opposite the Grand Palais. The three-floor venue features dedicated spaces for large installations, office-like areas for focused projects, projection rooms, and open-plan zones. The layout, designed by the fair's trusted architects, was praised for its clarity and maturity. Notable stands included Hussenot with Tobias Spitching, Krinzinger with Monica Bonvicini, Ily2 with Umico Niwa, and Champ Lacomb rediscovering Barbara Hammer's 50-year career. Italian galleries were well represented: Tiziana Di Caro showed Damir Očko and Tomaso Binga; Clima presented Sacha Kanah and Dana Lok; Galleria Abruzzese-Milanese featured Maria Loboda, Polys Pesilikas, and Rosa Barba; the most photographed stand belonged to Mostern Chetwynd with Ghostbusters-inspired sculptures; fresh-to-Milan gallery showed Nancy Lupo and Cross Lypka; another stand split into a studiolo with Garance Frül and front works by Srijon Chowdhury and Leonardo Devito; and a Neapolitan gallery with Milan base exhibited Sylvano Bussolotti and Giorgia Garzilli. The fair also announced its upcoming spring edition in Milan, with a central, never-before-used space still being finalized.
