Paris Gallery Weekend 2018: 44 Galleries, 107 Artists, Four Themed Itineraries

The fifth Paris Gallery Weekend, a significant event in the contemporary art world, is set to take place from May 25 to 27, 2018. This year, it boasts participation from 44 galleries and showcases 107 artists, marking a 40% rise compared to 2017. Organized by Choices under the leadership of Marion Papillon, the weekend will feature openings, performances, concerts, and conferences. A collaboration with Talking Galleries will host a day dedicated to discussions. Curated routes will highlight historical artists, renowned figures like David Hockney, and post-1980 talents such as Oli Epp. Tornabuoni Art will present an Afro retrospective, while Galerie Lelong & Co. will exhibit Hockney's iPad creations, alongside works by Robert Motherwell and women artists, including a floral interpretation by Galerie Papillon.
