Paratissima Torino relocates to former barracks for 13th edition

festival-fair · 2026-05-05

Paratissima, the Turin art fair, moves to a new venue for its 13th edition, scheduled from November 1 to 5. The fair's theme is superstition, with president Damiano Aliprandi calling 7 a magic number and noting the Caserma di via Asti will be its seventh location. The fair was previously held at via Po, via Aosta, Le Nuove prison, San Salvario, MOI, and Torino Esposizioni. The new site is the former Caserma La Marmora, a 20,000 sqm complex behind the Gran Madre di Dio church. Historically, it housed the political investigative office of the Republican National Guard from 1943 to 1945. Recently used for refugees from the Horn of Africa, the building is owned by Cassa depositi e prestiti, which allows its use pending redevelopment by Carlo Ratti Associati, with plans due by summer's end. The fair is organized by the YLDA Association.
