festival-fair · 2026-05-05

From February 2 to 4, 2018, Bologna will host the inaugural Paratissima, an international art fair showcasing emerging artists, at IAAD, located at Via Jacopo Barozzi 3. This event, which began in Turin, has since branched out to cities including Skopje, Lisbon, Cagliari, and Naples, with the Turin team overseeing this edition. In October 2017, a new management entity named PRS – Paratissima Produzioni e Servizi Srl Impresa Sociale was formed, with Damiano Aliprandi, Francesca Canfora, Lorenzo Germak, and Daniele Ratti holding 51% ownership, while private investors and Socialfare own the remaining 49%. The Bologna fair, themed 'Animali Notturni' (Nocturnal Animals), will showcase a curated group of artists, with submissions accepted until January 11.
