Paratissima 2021: First Fair of Turin Art Week with Extended Format

Paratissima 2021 is kicking off Turin's art week, running from now until December 12, 2021, at the ARTiglieria Con/temporary Art Center. This is the 17th edition of the fair, which includes two main components: the Paratissima Exhibit and Fair showcasing fresh talent from the Premio Torino Creativa residences, and NICE & Fair / Contemporary Visions, a training program by Francesca Canfora that focuses on innovative contemporary art concepts. Highlights include Davide Dileo (Boosta)'s piece 'Ultima Ri/composizione per pianoforte a 24 mani,' shown before at Castello Sforzesco in Milan, and a screening of 'Slow News' by Alberto Puliafito and Fulvio Nebbia on November 7. The director, Olga Gambari, emphasizes that the artists shape the themes, reflecting on pandemic experiences and the balance between private and public life. Collaborations involve the ArtLords Afghan collective, with backing from various organizations and private supporters.
