Parasite 2.0's 'Like marble-like' residency at Carrara
The Milan-based architecture collective Parasite 2.0—Stefano Columbo, Eugenio Cosentino, and Luca Marullo—completed an artist residency in Carrara, organized by Arteco through a municipal call. Their project, 'Like marble-like,' is a performance process currently underway, curated by Beatrice Zanelli. The collective created a visionary workshop at the Centro Arti Plastiche, drawing on the private archive of the Lazzerini family of sculptors (active from the late 17th century to 1942). The installation combines marble and plastic materials in a futuristic, site-specific environment, addressing the risk of losing technical-artisanal knowledge. A related workshop runs from April 10 to 14. Parasite 2.0 previously participated in YAP Maxxi 2016 in Rome and other interventions in Milan, Bari, and Rome.
