Parasite 2.0's Bricks, Borders and Flags: Playful Pedagogy in Mantua

Founded in 2010 by Stefano Colombo, Eugenio Cosentino, and Luca Marullo, the collective Parasite 2.0 developed the game "Bricks, borders and flags" for Mantua as part of the four-year initiative "E se diventi farfalla," supported by Fondazione Con i bambini. This project seeks to enhance educational approaches for at-risk groups through creativity and the arts. Collaborating with MantovaPlayground for Mantua Capital of Culture 2016, the game utilizes artificial bricks and flags to delve into themes of collectivity and multiculturalism. Local institutions such as E. Berni and O. Pacchioni schools, the Segni New Generations Festival, and Centro Zaffiria in Rimini are participating. Upcoming plans include a workshop with Landscape Coreography, Maddalena Fragnito, and Emanuele Braga, emphasizing gesture-based communication.
