Paramount and Warner Music Group Partner for Theatrical Films Based on Musicians
Paramount Pictures has entered into a multi-year first-look agreement with Warner Music Group (WMG) to develop theatrical films inspired by the talents of WMG's artists and songwriters. The production division of WMG, Unigram, which is headed by Amanda Ghost and Gregor Cameron, will work alongside Paramount on these initiatives. Robert Kyncl, the CEO of WMG, emphasized the chance for artists to express their narratives in innovative ways. This partnership follows WMG's earlier deal with Netflix in March for documentaries and films. Unigram, co-founded by Ghost in 2015 with support from Len Blavatnik's Access Industries, is known for producing titles like Tetris and The United States vs. Billie Holiday. WMG's impressive lineup features artists such as Led Zeppelin, Madonna, and Dua Lipa. Greenstein and Goldberg assumed the role of Co-Chairs at Paramount in August 2025.
