Para/Site's 'Ten Million Rooms of Yearning. Sex in Hong Kong' Explores Eroticism Across Five Venues

The exhibition titled 'Ten Million Rooms of Yearning. Sex in Hong Kong,' organized by Para/Site, runs through five different venues, including the Civic Centre Exhibition Hall and a private apartment in Sheung Wan, effectively connecting various parts of the city. It features the works of 39 artists and delves into themes of sexuality and eroticism as they relate to Hong Kong's historical and social evolution. The experience is heightened by the monsoon season, which occurs from June to October. Standout works include Hélio Oiticica's 'Babylonests,' Zhou Tao's unnamed drawings and video 'Collector' (2012), Ines Doujak's photos, and William E.
