Paolo Ventura Releases Limited-Edition Winter Stories Box Set with Print
Aperture is set to unveil a deluxe limited-edition box set of Paolo Ventura's 2009 work, Winter Stories, which includes the print Last Show. This exclusive collection is restricted to 25 copies along with 5 artist's proofs and features a distinctive tipped-in drawing and a digital C-print titled The Show, all housed in a clamshell box. Each print measures 11 1/2 x 14 inches and is signed and numbered by Ventura. Winter Stories presents the memories of a fictional circus performer through surreal imagery. Born in Milan in 1968, Ventura studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera. He has exhibited globally and published four monographs, with representation from Weinstein Hammonds Gallery, Flatland Gallery, and Edwyn Houk. Ventura resides in Milan.
