Paolo Scirpa's Neon Works Return to Milan in 'Sconfinamento' Exhibition

The exhibition 'Sconfinamento' by Paolo Scirpa (born 1934 in Syracuse) is on view at Gaggenau Hub in Milan until January 31, 2020. Curated by Sabino Maria Frassà, the show brings together fifteen works including sculptures, paintings, and photographs. It marks the return of Scirpa's neon installations to Milan after years of absence. The artist is recognized internationally and his works are held by institutions such as MART in Rovereto, Museo del Novecento, and Gallerie d'Italia. The exhibition is part of the IN-MATERIAL cycle, conceived by Frassà and promoted by German brand Gaggenau together with the non-profit project Cramum. A video produced by the promoters features the curator explaining the spiritual and interactive nature of Scirpa's art, which invites viewers to experience infinity within finite space.
