Paolo Gonzato's Studio as an Archaeology of the Present
Since 2019, Paolo Gonzato has been utilizing a 120-square-meter basement in Milan's NoLo district, previously an electronics lab and accountant's office. He reimagined the area to foster an open layout, enhanced by ribbon windows that allow ample light. His artistic approach, termed 'archaeology of the present,' encompasses the 'Out of Stock' series, initiated in 2003, which repurposes industrial waste. Drawing inspiration from his studies in Decoration at Brera Academy, Gonzato's creations include painting, ceramics, and industrial materials.
