Paola Gribaudo Honored as Accademico d'Onore by Accademia Albertina

Paola Gribaudo, a Turin-based publisher renowned for her art books, was awarded the title of Accademico d'Onore by the Accademia Albertina di Belle Arti in Turin. The ceremony took place in 2016, with a prolusion delivered by Edoardo Di Mauro, a member of the academic council. Gribaudo, daughter of artist Ezio Gribaudo, has continued her father's legacy, expanding the family's imprint in art publishing. She is known for her meticulous craftsmanship, having produced over 700 volumes by 2004, including her signature 'librini'—small, white, 64-page books where artists are given creative freedom. 90% of her work is international, though her books are printed in Italy, mainly in Turin. Her clients include prestigious museums and galleries worldwide, and her books have reached figures like Queen Elizabeth II, Vladimir Putin, King Felipe of Spain, Pope Benedict XVI, and Pope Francis. She has also worked with Nobel laureates Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Joseph Brodsky. In 2011, she was named Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by French Culture Minister Frédéric Mitterrand. Gribaudo recently donated a selection of her volumes to the Accademia Albertina.
