Paola D'Agostino Takes Helm of Musei Reali di Torino with Focus on Quality and Youth
On October 1, 2025, Paola D'Agostino will take over as director of the Musei Reali di Torino, following Enrica Pagella and Mario Turetta. An expert in Italian Renaissance and Baroque sculpture, D'Agostino earned her PhD from the University of Naples Federico II and has experience at both the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Yale University Art Gallery. She led the Musei del Bargello in Florence from 2015 to 2024. Her vision includes focusing on high-quality exhibitions, enticing visitors aged 18–25 with a €2 entry fee, and fostering partnerships with other cultural institutions in Turin.
