Panos Aprahamian Wins Han Nefkens Foundation – Museu Tàpies Video Art Grant 2024

Panos Aprahamian, a filmmaker and media artist based in Beirut, has received the 2024 Han Nefkens Foundation – Museu Tàpies Video Art Production Grant. This grant supports emerging artists under 50 from Central and West Asia by promoting their video art and helping them grow their networks. Aprahamian beat out six other shortlisted candidates to win this opportunity. Over the next nine months, the funding will be used for his new video art projects. He will collaborate with several institutions, including the NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore and WIELS Brussels, and his work is set to be exhibited at these venues starting in 2026.
