Pangue Video Art Festival Mexicali 2026 Open Call for Mexican Artists

An open call for the Pangue Video Art Festival, Mexicali edition, 2026, has been announced by the Museo Sol del Niño in Mexicali, the Building Bridges Art Exchange Foundation in Los Angeles, and the Museo Arte Al Límite in Panquehue, Chile. This festival, focused on video art, will showcase selected pieces at the Museo Sol del Niño from October 9 to 11, 2026. The event examines the relationship between humanity and nature and is named after the Pangue plant, which represents courage and resilience. Mexican artists are encouraged to submit works that tackle climate and social change. Prizes include a national award of $1000 and $250 mentions. Videos should be no longer than 5 minutes and in 4k or 5k resolution, submitted via Google Drive.
