Panel at ARCOmadrid Examines Brazilian Art's Global Trajectory Ahead of São Paulo Biennial

On February 21, 2014, from noon to 2 PM, ARCOmadrid will host a discussion panel called 'Brazil: Being Local, Becoming Global.' This event, put together by ArtReview and Latitude: Platform for Brazilian Art Galleries Abroad, will be held in the Sala de Presentaciones, Hall 7, at the Feria de Madrid, located in Parque Juan Carlos I, Madrid. The discussion will be in English and will feature prominent figures like Pablo León de la Barra from the Guggenheim, Luciana Brito of Luciana Brito Galeria, and Pablo Lafuente, co-curator of the upcoming 31st Bienal de São Paulo. Oliver Basciano from ArtReview will lead the conversation, focusing on Brazil's contemporary art scene and its local and global dynamics.
