Pananti Casa d'Aste Launches Web Series 'Casa Pananti'

Pananti Casa d'Aste, a historic Italian auction house based in Florence, has launched a web series titled 'Casa Pananti' on its website, YouTube, and Facebook channels. The series, currently with three episodes, offers a behind-the-scenes look at the auction house's operations, including the arrival and departure of artworks, specialist analysis and cataloging, and photography sessions. Director Filippo Pananti explains the goal is to engage a wider, younger audience by demystifying the auction world. The series is directed by Giovanni Piscaglia and features the entire team. Pananti Casa d'Aste was founded by Piero Pananti in 1968 in Florence, evolving from a gallery into an auction house. Today it is directed by Filippo Pananti, with support from entrepreneur Ugo Colombo. The company has a history of collaboration with artists such as Nino Tirinnanzi, Mario Marcucci, Mino Maccari, and Venturino Venturi, and writers like Alessandro Parronchi, Vasco Pratolini, Mario Luzi, and Eugenio Montale. Pananti also publishes catalogues, poetry and prose volumes, and the magazine 'L'Indiscreto', now directed online by Francesco D'Isa. The web series combines reality and mini-doc styles, aiming for freshness in the often polished auction world, highlighting teamwork and the company's Tuscan roots with an international outlook.
