PAMMTV Intertidal 2025–2026: Artist Interviews on Community, Technology, and Miami
Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) has released a series of interviews with four artists featured in PAMMTV's INTERTIDAL 2025–2026 exhibition. Keisha Rae Witherspoon discusses her film T (2019), which emerged from the killing of Trayvon Martin and explores community rituals of grief, blending scripted narrative with improvisation. Yucef Merhi traces his early engagement with technology, starting with an Atari 2600 at age seven, leading to works like SORRY (2015) that examine the relationship between programming language and natural language. domingo castillo flores presents Surface Image: Epilogue: (Version) (2015–2026), an ongoing project interrogating Miami's urban development through media, reflecting the city's perpetual state of becoming. The collaborative duo Liz'Bow (Liz and Bow) share the story of their meeting in Chicago, where Bow worked as a human lamp, leading to a decade-long collaboration and the creation of Niñalandia Skycoaster (2024), a universe blending digital and physical elements. The exhibition is free and accessible worldwide at www.pamm.tv. PAMM also acknowledges Jacolby Satterwhite's influence and wishes for his recovery.
