Palestinian Artists Explore Transmission at Galerie du Jour Agnès B
Six Palestinian artists are currently exhibiting at Galerie du Jour Agnès B in the show 'The Grain of Our Hearts,' which examines the concept of historical transmission. The exhibition was developed in collaboration with the collective Maan, formed in October 2023 following the exhibition 'Ce que la Palestine apporte au monde' at the Institut du monde arabe. Works span multiple media including photography, collage, drawing, printmaking, and narrative texts, all addressing how to preserve traces against erasure. Among the participants is the established artist Taysir Batniji, who is also the eldest of the six exhibitors. Batniji recently appeared as a guest on RFI. The exhibition opened on April 20, 2026.
