Palazzo Marino in Milan to undergo major restoration funded by Tod's

Since 1861, Palazzo Marino has served as the civic center of Milan and is set to receive a comprehensive restoration thanks to a €2 million contribution from the Tod's group. This initiative will focus on refurbishing the external facades and the internal Cortile d'Onore, overseen by Jesurum-Leoni Comunicazione di US-The Future is Now srls, with Tod's obtaining image rights. The project is projected to take 16 months, during which scaffolding will prominently feature the Tod's brand. Constructed between 1557 and 1563 by Galeazzo Alessi for Tommaso Marino, the building is adorned with sculptures and frescoes from renowned artists. After changing hands several times, it was handed over to the municipality in 1859. Mayor Giuseppe Sala acknowledged its importance, while Tod's CEO Diego Della Valle expressed gratitude to the city. The public will have the opportunity to engage with the restoration through open-site events.
