Palazzo Grassi's Altri Sguardi returns with migrant-led tours
From October to December 2020, Venice's Palazzo Grassi – Punta della Dogana will host the second edition of Altri Sguardi, aimed at training asylum seekers and refugees as cultural mediators. Participants will guide visitors through three exhibitions: Henri Cartier-Bresson, Youssef Nabil, and an untitled 2020 exhibit. This program builds on the previous year’s success, where nine tour guides engaged audiences with art and personal narratives. Those over 18 who can speak Italian are invited to apply by September 14, 2020. The initiative collaborates with organizations such as Refugees Welcome Italia to promote cultural exchange and integration.
