exhibition · 2026-04-27

Beginning on March 17, 2024, Palazzo Grassi and Punta della Dogana in Venice will showcase simultaneous exhibitions featuring Pierre Huyghe, Julie Mehretu, and Edith Dekyndt. This initiative is a collaboration with the Leeum Museum of Art in Seoul and K21, Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen in Düsseldorf. At Punta della Dogana, Pierre Huyghe (born in Paris, 1962) will display works from the Pinault Collection, creating an environment for non-human interactions, curated by Anne Stenne, running until November 24, 2024. Meanwhile, Palazzo Grassi will host Julie Mehretu (born in Addis Ababa, 1970), displaying over sixty pieces, including works from her collection and notable friends. Curated by Caroline Bourgeois, this exhibition is available until January 6, 2025. Starting April 2024, Edith Dekyndt's (born in Ypres, 1960) video "Song to the Siren" will be presented in the Foyer of the Teatrino di Palazzo Grassi, addressing memory preservation and featuring a girl near the Monumento della Partigiana, a bronze statue by Augusto Murer (1969).
