Palazzo Diedo Opens in Venice with Janus Exhibition for 2024 Biennale
Starting April 20, Palazzo Diedo in Venice, which has just undergone renovations, will host the exhibition 'Janus.' This event will feature unique artworks from 11 global artists, including Urs Fischer, Piero Golia, and Carsten Höller, among others. Mario Codognato and Adriana Rispoli are curating this exhibition, which is part of the lead-up to the 2024 Venice Biennale. In addition to the main showcase, there will be two special projects: a solo show by London’s Rhea Dillon, presented by The Kitchen, and an initiative from the Polaroid Foundation highlighting works made with the iconic Polaroid 20×24 camera. There will also be a space dedicated to Ibrahim Mahama’s installations on globalization, plus plans for a garden, restaurant, and a staircase by Carsten Höller.
