Palais des Beaux-Arts de Lille Opens Children's Museum Grandeur Nature

The Palais des Beaux-Arts in Lille has inaugurated a new permanent space, the Musée des enfants, located in a ground-floor rotunda. This free museum, designed for children aged six to ten, launches its first season with the theme of the living world. Titled Grandeur Nature, it features works from the museum's collections, interactive devices, and family guided tours on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The space aims to explore the place of children—and humans more broadly—within the natural world, conceived as a museum within a museum to nurture an unbounded perspective.
