Palais de Tokyo pairs Michel Blazy and Tatiana Trouvé in 2007

From February 1 to May 6, 2007, the Palais de Tokyo in Paris presented a group exhibition featuring Michel Blazy, Tatiana Trouvé, Joe Coleman, and Peter Coffin. Director Marc-Olivier Walher aimed to create a dynamic dialogue between contrasting artistic practices. Blazy works with living materials that decay and transform over the course of an exhibition, while Trouvé constructs miniature, parallel worlds of hard, constraining architecture. Their juxtaposition was intended to generate a productive tension.
