Padimai Art & Tech Studio opens in Singapore with Olafur Eliasson VR work exploring perception and blockchain archives
In November 2025, Padimai Art & Tech Studio will open its doors in Tanjong Pagar Distripark, Singapore, debuting with Olafur Eliasson's VR installation, Your view matter (2022/2025). Established by Vignesh Sundaresan (Metakovan), the studio aims to blend contemporary art, social engagement, and immersive technology. Participants can navigate six virtual chambers featuring movement-triggered moiré patterns and a subtle soundtrack. A blockchain-based archival system captures user movements. The exhibition will be on display from 20 November 2025 until March 2026, showcasing the fusion of VR and blockchain in the art world. Commissioned by Sundaresan and created in collaboration with Acute Art, Your view matter emphasizes the viewer's active role in shaping experiences.
