institutional · 2026-04-27

La Pelanda in Rome launched its annual second-level Master in Performing Arts and Community Spaces (PACS) in January 2020, set to wrap up in November 2020. This program provides an inclusive educational experience featuring free performances, discussions, and meetings. Various cultural institutions and festivals are hosted at the Mattatoio di Testaccio, where PACS aims to build a community by linking artistic expressions with public areas. Directed by Cesare Pietroiusti and Francesco Careri, with coordination by Ilaria Mancia, the program includes architects among its instructors. Notable participants include Alessandro Sciarroni and Agrupación Señor Serrano. Workshops delve into topics such as immobility, voice, dance, and digital dramaturgy, examining the interplay between bodies and their environments.
