Packing for New York Design Week: Julia Haney Montañez's Essentials

Julia Haney Montañez, London-based co-founder of The Design Release, shares her packing list for New York Design Week. She is also program curator for Look Book at ICFF and curated an offsite at AvroKO's Host on Howard. She will be in New York for twenty days, including a stop in Washington, D.C. Her essentials include a Herve Chapelier army tote, a red Rimowa trunk, and a vintage Gucci Abbey bag. She packs a monochrome wardrobe of white, black, and navy, with versatile pieces like Citizens of Humanity Annina jeans, Uniqlo mini shirts, Buck Mason pima shirts, and a Toteme button-down. Shoes include Union Fade cowboy boots, Flabelous black flats, and Manolo Maysales in denim. Accessories include Dorsey Lucien earrings, a Re-Collection Lalique tassel necklace, and a David Yurman necklace.
