Pachapasa Studio Transforms Bangkok House into ARVIE Restaurant with Lantern Pavilion and Recycled Brick Bar
In the Yannawa district of Bangkok, Pachapasa Studio has reimagined an existing house and garden, creating ARVIE, a modern dining establishment. The renovation preserves the original building while eliminating internal walls to create a seamless dining area. A newly constructed pavilion in the courtyard revitalizes the previously neglected garden and links the two structures. This pavilion accommodates up to 16 patrons and can serve as two separate rooms or a stage for outdoor events. The interior features a long dining area centered around a bar crafted from red glazed bricks made from recycled materials. Local artisans contributed handmade brick flooring and woven papyrus mats. The project team includes Pasathorn Srichaiyongphanich and Pacharamon Danwachira, with photography by Tripoom Chongpipatanasook.
