Pace Gallery mounts Emily Kam Kngwarray's New York solo debut
Pace Gallery presents 'The Turning Season', the first New York solo exhibition of Aboriginal artist Emily Kam Kngwarray, from May 15 to August 14 at its 508 and 510 West 25th Street spaces. Organized with D Lan Galleries, the survey spans her renowned paintings and textiles, following a 2025 Tate Modern retrospective. Kngwarray (ca. 1914–1996), an Anmatyerr Elder born in Alhalker, Sandover region, Northern Territory, created works expressing ancestral and ecological ties to her land through the Dreaming worldview.
