Pace expands to LA with Kayne Griffin union; curator Hickey joins The Shed
Pace Gallery has revealed a partnership with Kayne Griffin, a gallery based in Los Angeles, transforming it into Pace's flagship location on the West Coast. Set to launch in April 2022, the new venue, Pace LA, will be overseen by Maggie Kayne and Bill Griffin, who have worked with Pace for five years on exhibitions featuring artists like James Turrell and Agnes Martin. This collaboration will enhance Pace's public events initiative, 'Pace Live'. Additionally, Andria Hickey, who initiated 'Pace Live' and served as a curator in New York, is departing to take on the role of chief curator at The Shed, succeeding Emma Enderby.
