Pablo Lafuente Lecture on Interpellation at Artists Space
Pablo Lafuente, editor of Afterall journal and the One Work book series, will deliver a lecture on interpellation at Artists Space in New York this Friday. The talk examines the relationship between pleasure and the subject's encounter with ideology, framed within the work of artist Hilary Lloyd. Lafuente is also an associate curator at the Office for Contemporary Art in Oslo and co-curated Norway's pavilion at the 54th Venice Biennale in 2011. The event is organized by Afterall.
