P81 House: A 1932 Poznań Villa Restored by wiercinski-studio

architecture-design · 2026-05-13

In Poznań's historic Grunwald district, wiercinski-studio has completed the restoration of P81 House, a 1932 residence. The project, led by Adam Wiercinski, began as an interior commission but expanded into a full transformation of the facade, landscaping, and furniture design. The pivotal moment came when owners Karolina and Mariusz revealed original brickwork beneath old plaster, inspiring a raw aesthetic. The 300 m² villa now features preserved cornices, sills, and new windows replicating classical divisions. Completed in 2024, the project was curated by Hadir Al Koshta and photographed by Oni Studio. Manufacturers include Zangra and wiercinski-studio.
