P. Nicolas Ledoux's 'promenade' at Galerie Magda Danysz

exhibition · 2026-04-24

P. Nicolas Ledoux presents 'promenade' at Galerie Magda Danysz in Paris until February 25, 2012. The exhibition offers a survey of his work from the past two years, including pieces from the Ludovic Chemarin© project—an artist persona 'bought' and reactivated after its 'artistic bankruptcy' in the 1990s, realized with Damien Beguet. Ledoux shows his 'image diary' of small black-and-white photographs taken with his mobile phone during exhibition visits, readings, cinema, and video game sessions, alongside new prints, drawings, and collages. The works critique the status of the artwork between fetish and design object, and the value of the signature and artistic gesture in an art world shaken by moral, financial, and ontological crises. Invited artists: Pierre Beloüin and Gaël Davrinche.
