Ozioma Onuzulike's Second French Solo Show at Galerie Afikaris

Galerie Afikaris in Paris will host Ozioma Onuzulike's second solo exhibition in France, titled 'Shields', from May 21 to August 8, 2026. The show features works including '6.8 kg Shield for Osimhen' (2026), a piece that references Nigerian footballer Victor Osimhen. Onuzulike, a professor and artist known for his use of recycled glass beads, explores themes of protection, identity, and cultural heritage through shield-like forms. The exhibition is presented in collaboration with the artist and is accompanied by a photo by Éric Simon.
