institutional · 2026-04-19

In September, Özge Ersoy will take on the role of executive director at Asia Art Archive (AAA) in Hong Kong, where she is presently the senior curator, Mimi Brown & Alp Erçil. Since joining AAA in 2017, she has been instrumental in public programs and has co-curated exhibitions such as "In Our Own Backyard" (2025) and "Countering Time" (2024). Her research delves into contemporary art collecting and publishing, and she earned her MA in curatorial studies from Bard College. Christopher K. Ho, who previously led AAA for four years, will rejoin the board. Claire Hsu, co-founder of AAA, commended Ersoy for her alignment with the organization's mission. Her appointment aligns with AAA's 25th anniversary and the debut of "Archive for All: Growing with Communities," which includes a year-long exhibition and educational programs.
