Özge Ersoy Assumes Leadership at Asia Art Archive Amid 25th Anniversary Celebrations

institutional · 2026-04-19

Özge Ersoy has been appointed as the new Executive Director of Asia Art Archive (AAA) in Hong Kong, succeeding Christopher K. Ho, who held the position for four years. Ersoy, who joined AAA in 2017, takes on this role as the organization marks its 25th anniversary. This milestone will be celebrated with a public program called Archive for All: Growing with Communities this Autumn. Her plans include launching D-Lab, improving collaboration and accessibility, and organizing anniversary events. Key projects she will work on are co-curating In Our Own Backyard (2025) and Countering Time (2024), along with supporting Oscar Ho's book, Hong Kong Art: A Curator's History. Ersoy aims to foster integrity and collaboration while ensuring AAA's long-term sustainability through regional partnerships.
